A complete 3-way horn platform

The H1530 combines three dedicated elements into one balanced system foundation: a 15-inch woofer for bass and scale, a horn-loaded compression midrange for dynamics and projection, and an Alnico compression tweeter for extension and detail.

Every driver is designed and manufactured by Lii Audio, while the crossover network and system integration are independently developed for the H1530.

The crossover points are set at 800 Hz and 4500 Hz, allowing each driver to work in its most natural range while maintaining clarity and continuity across the spectrum.

At the foundation of the system is a 15-inch woofer with dual paper cones and cloth surround, chosen for its natural tonal character and ability to move air with ease. With a resonant frequency of 30 Hz, it reaches deep into the low end while keeping With a resonant frequency of 30 Hz, the woofer provides deep, full-bodied bass while maintaining the natural tonal character of paper-cone technology. Its large radiating area gives the H1530 the physical scale and ease expected from a large-format loudspeaker.

The midrange uses a 50 mm compression driver coupled to a horn. This high-efficiency architecture provides fast response, strong dynamics and controlled projection across the critical vocal and instrumental range. The result is a vivid and immediate presentation with a strong sense of energy and presence.

The high frequencies are handled by a 38 mm Alnico compression driver. The Alnico motor structure and compression architecture provide a fast and expressive upper register, extending the system with clarity, air and fine detail while maintaining the dynamic character of the horn system

The H1530 3-Driver Kit is designed to combine the scale and weight of a 15-inch woofer with the speed, presence and projection of horn-loaded compression drivers.

Rather than chasing complexity for its own sake, it brings together three dedicated drivers into a complete high-efficiency platform intended for custom loudspeaker projects.

With a sensitivity of 97 dB, the H1530 works especially well with tube amplifiers and other low- to medium-power systems, while still offering the headroom and authority expected from a large-format speaker concept.

This version is offered as a driver kit only, giving builders the freedom to develop their own enclosure and final implementation.

From Orchestra to Small Ensembles Symphony & Classical The large-format woofer provides the scale, weight and dynamic headroom required for orchestral music. Jazz The horn-loaded midrange brings energy and immediacy to brass, percussion and acoustic instruments. Vocals The compression midrange provides strong vocal presence and articulation. Small Ensembles The paper-cone woofer and high-efficiency compression drivers can also reproduce intimate recordings with delicacy, texture and nuance.

Designed for custom high-efficiency systems & SET Amplifiers

For DIY enthusiasts, cabinet makers and experienced builders, the H1530 kit offers the essential acoustic core of a large-format horn speaker while leaving full freedom over cabinet design, materials, proportions and final tuning.

Its combination of horn-loaded drivers and large woofer allows the system to sound expressive and dynamic without needing excessive amplifier power, making it especially attractive for tube-based systems.

At 97 dB sensitivity, it can produce substantial acoustic output with relatively modest amplifier power, making it particularly attractive for: SET tube amplifiers, 300B amplifiers, 2A3 amplifiers, other low-power tube amplifiers.
